Simple Telecom has a number of admins available for the core range of 1300 numbers and 1800 numbers. These addons can be often used standalone, or in conjunction with the 1300 and 1800 numbers.
These features will give you more power over the calling experience for you as the business owner and a much nicer experience and introduction to your business for the caller. Depending on your requirements, it would be fairly common to use a number of these features combined.
As a feature, Simple Telecom has pioneered the Call Recording option for your service. This gives you the ability to record the call, listen back to it for accuracy purposes or Quality Assurance. Beyond this, you could use the recordings to provide training feedback for sales people who are selling on the phone.
Utilizing the IVR Keypress would be our second most featured addon. This gives you the ability to present a prompt to your calls and invite them to select an option to route them through to the relevant department.
Sometimes Simple Telecom customers choose to use a Recorded Voice Announcement to present information and/or branding detail to the caller before connecting them through to the end point.
Historically, the Live Call Answering service was a fully featured option that was highly desired among Simple Telecom customers, however over the past 2-3 years we have noticed a significant decline in customer usage – it seems business prefer to use a Voicemail or simply route to their mobile and handle the afterhours calling themselves.
Simple Telecom still offers a Live Call Answering service as an addon to the 1300 and 1800 numbers, however it is limited and doesn’t come with any guarantees or Service Level Agreements – calls are only ever answered on a best effort basis.
